In October (20-22) you can find us at Cineposium in Los Angeles. The annual meeting of film commissioners from all over the world is organized by the Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI); FCP is a member of the association.
In November (7-10) we will travel to Brussels, where an exhibition and a conference organised by the European Film Commissions (EUFCN) will take place in the European Parliament. The events will concern the influence of film productions on the development of regions, the role of film commissions, and film tourism. In Brussels we will also find out the winner of the competition for the best European location of the decade, organised by the EUFCN and Cineuropa. One of the finalists is Wrocław with its locations from Spielberg’s “Bridge of Spies;” the city was submitted by FCP.
From the 29th of November to the 1st of December, we will stay in Tallinn at Baltic Event, the biggest coproduction market in Northeastern Europe. FCP and Mazovia Warsaw Film Commissioned have partnered with the event.
In December (5-6) we will participate in the third edition of the FOCUS in London, together with regional film commissions from Kraków, Wrocław, Mazovia and Podkarpacie. You can find us there at the joint stand organised under the aegis of the Polish Film Commissions.
We will also participate in autumnal industrial events in Poland: Warsaw Kids Film Forum (27-29 September), the coproduction forum Regiofund in Katowice (5-7 October), Warsaw Industry Days (19-21 October) during the Warsaw Film Festival, and the US in Progress at American Film Festival in Wrocław (25 October).
