Tomasz Dąbrowski Joins AFCI Board of Directors

Head of Film Commission Poland has been elected a member of Board of Directors of the Association of Film Commissioners International.

It is our pleasure to announce that Tomasz Dąbrowski, Head of Film Commission Poland has joined Board of Directors of AFCI, a Los Angeles-based international association gathering film commissioners from around the world.

AFCI was founded in 1975 and is the official professional organization for film commissioners who assist film, television and video production throughout the world. AFCI comprises of more than 300 film commissions from 45 countries on six continents. The association offers multiple levels of training for its members and their staff, creates networking opportunities and facilitates relationships between film commissioners and with industry decision makers. The AFCI also organizes Locations Show and Cineposium, an annual conference for film commissioners and publishes Beyond Cinema, a magazine giving an insight into the global film production.

Tomasz Dąbrowski is the first representative of the Polish film commissions to sit on the board of an international industry association. His 2-years term starts in 2018.

Film Commission Poland has been an active member of AFCI for 5 years, we are also a member of the European Film Commissions Network (EUFCN) and the Location Managers Guild International (LMGI).
