The shooting of the fifteenth episode of German TV series "Ein Sommer in …" took place in Masurian Lakeland in May and June. The set was located in north-eastern Poland, in two holiday resorts: Mikołajki and Mrągowo.
The episode shot in Poland is titled "Summer in Masuria" and tells a story of Sabine, a girl with Asperger's Syndrome for whom maintaining interhuman relationships poses a serious difficulty. The protagonist comes to Poland to track inheritance from her father; the visit to Masuria becomes a turning point in her life. The production commissioned by ZDF was realized by Munich company Moviepool GmbH; services on the Polish side were provided by Tempus Film from Łódź. The filming took 22 days. The première is planned for Autumn 2015.
German TV station ARD decided to collaborate with Polish Television TVP during the production of new episodes for one of the oldest German crime TV series "Polizeiruf 110"("Police Call 110"). The shooting have begun in July and will continue in August mostly in Brandeburg; in Poland it will take place among others in the Polish-German Co-operation Centre in Świecko, which co-ordinates the collaboration of police, border guard and custom officers from both countries. The producer is DOKfilm Fernsehproduktion GmbH – commissioned by TV station RBB, which is part of German ARD. Polish actors will participate in the episodes shot on the Polish-German borderland, among them: Danuta Stanka ("Katyn"), Robert Gonera and Barbara Wysocka.
Also in July began the shooting to the new part of crime series “Der Usedom-Krimi” directed by Jochen Alexander Freydank, under the working title "Ferienjob" filmed on the Polish and German side of Usedom island. The shooting on the Polish side takes place mostly in Świnoujście and will finish in mid-August. The Polish partner is Film Art Production from Krakow; some of the main roles are played by Magdalena Boczarska ("Little Rose") and Olga Kalicka.
